ABOUT US
The British Columbia Kendo Federation is a not-for-profit, volunteer-based organization with a stated mission to promote and support the development of Kendo in British Columbia.
Our member dojos enjoy excellent cooperation and many common benefits arising from their joint efforts. The BCKF hosts several tournaments and workshops on an annual basis and coordinates kyu grading for all clubs in the province.
The Federation also offers common services to the membership including group liability insurance, inter-federation communications, special events coordination and fundraising.
Kendo has a rich history in B.C. and the BCKF is working hard to build on that foundation to ensure a strong future.
